Sliplane is built for hosting applications. This policy describes what we consider reasonable use of the resources and services included with your account.
Effective Date: 12.05.2026
We aim to keep our pricing simple and therefore don't charge extra for things like bandwidth and build minutes. That works because the vast majority of customers use Sliplane the way it was designed: to run their applications. This policy exists for the small number of edge cases where usage starts to affect our infrastructure or other customers, and it tells you where we'd want to have a conversation.
Outbound traffic is included with every server at no extra cost. There are no hard caps and we don't throttle.
If your server stays under 1 TB of outbound traffic per month, you are clearly fine. If you expect or are already seeing more, just drop us a line. There's a good chance it's still no problem, but we'd like to understand the use case. Short bursts are usually not an issue; we look at sustained patterns.
CPU, RAM, and disk are tied to the server size you book. Use them as you like for your own application. Where we ask for a heads-up is when Sliplane is being used as raw capacity for something it's not designed for, like batch compute farms, render farms, large-scale training jobs, or treating disks as bulk archival storage for data unrelated to a running application.
Build minutes for your services are included and run on shared infrastructure. Please use them for building the applications you actually deploy on Sliplane, not as a general-purpose CI runner or for builds unrelated to your servers.
Sliplane is meant for running your own applications. Use cases where the platform itself is mainly being used to move, store, or relay data on behalf of others fall outside fair use, regardless of volume.
Some specific use cases are explicitly forbidden under our Terms of Service. If you're unsure whether your use case fits, get in touch before you deploy.
Our first step is always an email. We share what we're seeing and work with you on next steps: tuning the application, moving to a larger server, agreeing on a metered overage, or, in clear abuse cases, suspending the service in line with our Terms. We don't silently throttle or shut things down without contacting you first, except where required to protect our network or other customers.
Questions, or unsure if your use case fits? Email support@sliplane.io before you deploy. We'd rather talk it through up front.
